The hotel is in a lovely location and many of the rooms have a view of the river, which was lovely. However, reception advised us not to open windows as flies come in, which was a shame. However, luckily there was a fan in the room as it was quite warm. The hotel was spotlessly clean but you can tell its an old building. They had quite an old TV in the room and not many Freeview channels but everything else was great, especially having a car park on site. We didn't eat or go to the bar so can't comment on those but would stay here again.

Lovely view over the river, great facilities with the gym/pool and the bar has a lovely balcony overlooking the water. Great free parking included. However our bathroom was both falling apart and filthy, it really let an otherwise a really pleasant hotel down.

Great stay, at a good hotel. The room was clean and had everything in it a hotel room needed, the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC and a proper shower instead of a bath and shower. Staff were lovely and helpful letting us park a bit earlier so we could have a walk around Kendal before check in. Lovely swimming and leisure facilities too! Breakfast was good both mornings as well. Overall a great hotel for a few days stay in Kendal !

Hotel room had all basics you need, smart tv wouldn’t connect to the hotels internet but worked off my hotspot, fan provided in room was slightly dusty. However the view from the room was amazing, all staff members we dealt with throughout our stay were incredibly helpful. Everything within walking distance, parking was convenient and the hotels pool and spa were great. Will look at staying again next time we come up.

Parking was easy and check-in was a simple process. Location is very good, close to town and being on the river it provided a beautiful location to dine outside. The walk along the river is quiet relaxing. The room was large with a good fan which was a nice suprise. Food was good and having Inchs on draft was a pleasent surprise. I didn't use the leisure facilities. This was a business trip but I would stay for a holiday.

Very happy with the room and view over the river. The bar area was very nice to having the decking area where you could sit outside again by the river. Didn't have time for breakfast as we had an early start so cannot comment on that. Parking facilities were excellent.

The parking is a bit tight but very useful. The car park is just past the main hotel restaurant. Good check in process. Nice room. We had lots of luggage so room felt a bit small but was lovely with the view across the river. Food in the Tannerery was wonderful. I highly recommend the Salmon tagliatelle in cream sauce....absolutely delicious. We would stay here again.
