The location was amazing. You will need budget for the cable car ride to the hotel. The only downside was the cable car stopped at 7:10 so you can't spend an evening in the town od Weggin. Other than a amazing stay.
We had a fantastic room on the third floor with a view of the beautiful lake. The staff were extremely pleasant especially checking in and out. The breakfast was very good and so fresh. Tea and coffee plentiful as with croissants and all other quality breakfast items. The beds are super comfortable and room spacious. Will definitely be coming again.
Hotel Felmis turned out to be a very good choice for my wife and me. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from our room. We were driving, so we appreciated the very convenient parking. We took the bus from right in front of the hotel to downtown Lucerne, without having to hassle with parking in Lucerne. The area around the hotel is very nice.
WOW I mean the views from this place cannot be beat. You absolutely MUST request a river facing room (you can see the beautiful snow capped mountains of Pilatus on a clear day). It is worth every penny. Additionally, your stay gets your a visitors pass with discounted rates on transport throughout the city. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well.
