"I recently stayed at Motel One Spittlemarkt over New Years. My room was very clean and comfortable. I was a 2 minute walk from U-Bahn Line 2 which made getting around the city easy. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of all the major sites in central Berlin. As a solo, mature female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in this part of Berlin. Enjoy and safe travels!"

Good restaurants nearby on Charlottenstrasse. We had self catering studio and shopped at nearby Lidl (5 minutes walk)Helpful staff who spoke good English. Would stay again if returning to Berlin"
