2/10 Poor

Location is excellent within 5-6 minutes walk of Opera House and Museum island a couple of minutes on. 5 minutes to Main S Bahn and U bahn at Friedesrichstrabbe station. Hotel was clean and staff were pleasant . We were able to check in early which really helped us. Rooms were clean and Shower / Bathroom spacious and clean. We had a classic / double room on the 5th Floor which was more than adequate .

This is an ideal location for exploring Berlin central ( Mitte) and the East side. It is also ideal if you are attending operas at Staatsoper, Unter den Linden and thanks to the lovely bedroom seat & footrest, plus indoor pool terrific for relaxing. I loved the wine & food menu at the Checkpoint Bar - although didn’t venture far from the Lachs - ( salmon) which was superb! Back soon!

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed four days in the family suite. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that everything in the minibar was free, including sparkling water, orange juice, wine and beer. The location is very well connected to the s-bahn and u-bahn. It was easy to get around. Unfortunately the pillows were old and barely supported your neck. So we did not get as good of a sleep as we could. Would stay here again.
