"Very nicely appointed newer hotel, geared to students, but as a solo traveler approaching 50 I didn’t feel out of pace. A good mix of ages, some families, and very cosmopolitan.
A bit off the beaten path for most of the attractions in San Sebastián, but I was able to walk to the more touristy areas of the city in 25-35 minutes. There are some good restaurants nearby.
Hotel restaurant and bar did fine. The rooftop pool is nice with a bar and good music, but space is limited. Lots of common areas, great for digital nomads and anybody that just needs a spot to get some work done.
Room was a little sparse, but had all the basics. No complaints there.
All in all a great experience and would recommend! "
"Beautiful hotel, really friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms were spotless and pool on rooftop was lovely. Bus service in the centre was very frequent so was very handy to have that at the door. Superb place."
"This will be my go to hotel in Madrid from now on. This hotel is perfect and during the summer time the AC system is perfect!!! Very friendly employees and great location as well. A+++"
"This is a fun hotel. A little 2020 “woke” in the branding but it’s in on the joke I think. “Heterofriendly” had me laughing as I’ve always thought, oh wow, hotel, thanks for being “gay-friendly”. In terms of amenities and spacious rooms it’s hard to beat in this old town."
"Really nice hotel of 5 star standard very close to San Sebastián. Bus right outside to take you to centre. Rooms very comfortable, great breakfast, super spa. "
"The hotel feels luxurious and the room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel is well equipped with access to a gym and dining options. The location is not far from the centre and Old Town in a taxi, under 10 mins. You can get a bus but we didn’t do this. Getting a taxi to the hotel from the train station was a bit of a nightmare when you haven't pre-booked a transfer, so would hughlt recommend arranging transfers in advance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and added to the experience, giving recommendations on where to see. The location doesn't have much going on, but is nice and quiet at night and there are a couple of nice restaurants directly opposite the hotel and a lovely beach nearby. "
