Visits to the city should be well planned due to the enormity of the city and traffic issues. As a result, tours should start early in the morning. Mumbai has a major problem with pollution, which is always a problem for tourists.

Mumbai is a great city. Sure its traffic is hectic and it's (in many places) dirty and decaying but it is charming as indeed are the people. There is much to see and do. We will be back, I hope

Mumbai infrastructure has improved a lot with connecting bridges. They can accelerate the development of metro system. Quality of life will improve only when there is a population control and focus on education for the low income families.

Mumbai never sleeps and can be a bit intimidating at first, but generally people are friendly and helpful towards foreigner travellers. Always be prepared to barter the cost of taxis and tuk-tuks.

I'm originally from Mumbai - born and raised - and there's nothing like this incredible city! The room had a great view; however, the intense smog in Mumbai kinda killed the view, given the limited visibility over the Powai Lake. Still, Mumbai rocks!

Traffic is an absolute nightmare. No reflection on the hotel I stayed at but getting around the city is not quick. Taxis are widely available but it takes a long time to travel short distances. Streets are not very walkable either.
"Great Hotel. Excellent location. Breakfast was awesome. The overall service is great. I had a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend it. Paid a little extra to get a gorgeous view of the Arabian Sea. "
"Fantastic place to stay before you take off from Sahar T2. Great service, excellent room, food at the Citrus was excellent. The place can for some reason get too cold in certain areas of the hotel. Besides this everything was excellent. "
"Right on Juhu beach with excellent ocean view from the room. Lounge was nice with a reasonably good spread and nice view. Great place to relax and spend quality time with family. Mahesh Lunch home and many other quality restaurants are nearby (if anyone is looking for local food)."
"It was extremely beautiful stay I had recently at St. Regis in Mumbai. The service was excellent, food was tasty and everything I experienced at the property was the best. My favorite moments at the hotel was seeing smiling faces of all the staff and how pleasantly they interacted o personal level. I can't forget the way my request to taste the dessert "Malpua with Rabdi" was fulfilled by the staff. It was after years that I tasted this dessert which was tasty and had personal touch! Thank you St. Regis!!! You are the best! I am going to be the permanent guest of you whenever I visit Mumbai, India !!! "
"The property is located at walking distance fro the T2. If you don't have much luggage, walking is the best option and fastest. The room we got was spacious and an excellent bathroom and bed. We took the hotel car for airport drop off and it was reasonably priced, expecially compared to the conveneince and Uber price at that location and time. We stayed only few hours before our early morning internation flight...therefore could not enjoy the facilities as much as we would have wished. Also, it is for the same reason, we cannot comment about food as we did not have time to get a meal there. But we will happily stay there again to and from our international trio through T2."
