"We liked the unique location in the geothermal river valley and the views from the room. Hot tubs were appropriate for the location and very relaxing. Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. Dinner in the restaurant was great, with several options that were cooked using the hot springs."

"Room was clean and tidy, attic room was quirky. The whole consider to rooms was an amazing insight in Icelandic culture and quirks. Welcome was warm and helpful. Didn’t use many of amenities due to the long day of travel (20 hours approx) Breakfast was a range of local and continental foods with plenty of coffee available."

"Amazing place! Beautifully designed and decorated! Loved the hot tubs, sauna and steam room! Also a great location in a cute little town! It’s within minutes of the thermal river hike! We got up early and were the first ones there! Grocery and gas are right in town as well as a couple of restaurants if you choose not to cook yourself! I wish we were staying another night!"
