Excellent hotel. Beautiful setting. Spa and hot pool was very nice and relaxing, and cocktails are available to order to the pool too. The food was excellent in the restaurant, with very good service. The check in and check out was easy and friendly. The room was high quality, modern, clean with everything we needed. The staff even helped me dry my coat in the drying room after a wet day, which was a great bonus for the stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property in an epic location. Staff was very friendly and helpful, spa was simple but beuatiful (love the geothermal fed outdoor hot pool), restaurant was delicious with great views of the plain below, and we were able to go on a big gorgeous hike out our back window. Felt like a special place to spend our first night in Iceland.

Too expensive for the service provided. Breakfast was basic but cost a fortune. There were 4 meals to pick from for dinner with no other options. Couldn't book any tours from the hotel, i was told to go on the website that didn't work. Pool was okay, building was nice one or two members of staff were nice, but not inline with the money paid out. Wouldn't recommend.

We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was lovely. The staff were all friendly and really helpful, the bar was a great place to relax, food was exceptional and the dinning room lovely with big windows looking out over the valley. Lots of walks possible from the hotel, would definately go back.

The room was very spacious and well designed and equipped. The check in staff was nice and welcoming and the spa was a great treat. The restaurant was good although they had age limit to order a burger, also offered in room service, and they refused to serve it to us at the restaurant.

Friendly staff at check-in, great restaurant, clean rooms, beautiful scenery. Be aware there is a geothermal factory very close to the hotel and the pool is not as glamorous and large as it looks. There is nothing in the area but the hotel’s restaurant is very good, makes up for lack of dining options in the area. There is a hiking trail right behind the hotel.
