Ancient coral buildings in Al-Balad tell stories of old Jeddah, where merchants still haggle in souks that assault the senses with spices and perfumes. The Corniche offers respite from the heat, with King Fahd's Fountain shooting water higher than you'd believe possible. Modern sculptures dot the seafront promenade where families gather at sunset. Fakieh Aquarium showcases Red Sea marine life that most visitors never see beneath the waves. Al Shallal Theme Park provides unexpected thrills, while the futuristic Jeddah Superdome hosts everything from concerts to sporting events. For shopping beyond traditional markets, Alandalus Mall offers air-conditioned relief and international brands. Arrive at Baab Makkah early to appreciate its historical significance before the crowds descend.
"This is a very good hotel in the Al Salama neighbourhood of Jeddah. I was allowed a slightly early check in by fron staff, Samih, who was very kind and considerate. On the day of my check-in, however, there were wifi range issues. But Faazil, the IT manager fixed it well after some follow ups from my end. The breakfast staff was very welcoming. Food was okay; the staff at the live counter were very prompt. It's an easy location for Uber drivers to find. There's an Al Baik takeaway store right opposite the hotel. Fairly good location if you want to avoid the more expensive hotels near the Corniche or closer to Al Balad. This one's reachable within 20-25 minutes from both."
"It's a nice hotel. Very new and very stylish. However, their breakfast service could have been better. The staff seemed uninterested in checking on the guests, and also forgot requests made by guests. The breakfast area was clean, comfortable and spacious. The cut fruits were delicious - amongst the best I have had in a long time. But other breakfast items were very average. Surprisingly, their in-room dining service was excellent. Their UmAli dessert is a must-try. Special shout out to Mohamed who brought meals to my room on two occassions for his courtesy and professionalism. The housekeeping staff also did a great job. They need to tag their two entrances (on opposite sides) on Google maps because Uber drivers and customers often get confused on where exactly the pick up is. While the hotel is strategically located close yo Al-Balad, there isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. "
"The place is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. Room service is fast, efficient, and consistently excellent. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant experience."
