Nawiliwili
Nawiliwili combines the thrill of a working harbor with the laid-back vibe of a tropical paradise. Cruise ships dock alongside fishing boats while Kalapaki Beach offers golden sands perfect for swimming and surfing lessons. Hike nearby trails for stunning mountain views or simply watch the boats come and go against Kauai's dramatic green backdrop. Resort restaurants serve fresh seafood with ocean views while beachside bars offer sunset cocktails and live Hawaiian music. Getting around requires a car unless you're staying at waterfront hotels with everything within walking distance. The harbor promenade connects major attractions, making exploration of this charming port town easy and enjoyable.

Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay, HI
"Even though it was after the hurricane and not, everybody was on board for tourists, I had a wonderful time. The staff treated me like family, the grounds were still beautiful and the hula and ukulele lessons in the lobby were wonderful. Everyone there treated me with great aloha and even without a car it was a great place to be when I come back to this is where I stay."
Hale Hokuala Kauai, Curio Collection By Hilton
"We were some of the first guests to stay at this hotel. This facility is absolutely beautiful and will definitely become a great place for people to stay and enjoy. The location is close to the airport and a lot of restaurants and stores. The property has parking that's not to far from the building. The room was well decorated and the sheet and pillows were definitely the Hilton level. The staff was super friendly and helpful from beginning to end with them helping us and suggesting places to go visit and eat at. Kai from the front lobby was great and helpful multiple times. One issue is that their in house bar closes too early at 1030pm, and they dont offer any alcohol for sale in their lobby. That was an inconvenience since then we had to leave the property to find alcohol to enjoy in our room. And there was a ton of construction with is to be expected with the recent opening and the hurricane, but a lot of the area where the rooms were at seemed messy and there was too many construction workers around the hotel near the rooms. Maybe completing a portion at a time would have been nicer so not see the behind the scenes. And a piece of metal fell from the ceiling and almost hit us while we were getting ready."
Castle Kaha Lani Resort
"Love this property, 2nd time we have stayed there. I still choose this resort on every trip to Kauai."
Marriott's Kaua'i Beach Club
"Amazing pool area and beach right on premises. Never an issue finding chairs at either. Staff was very friendly. Nearby shopping and additional restaurants as well as convenience stores a big plus. Beautiful grounds. Very peaceful. Will return"
