"Well, it's the Motel 8. Cheaper than others this time of year. Clean with friendly staff. Note that the shuttle does NOT say motel 8 but lists other hotels. I missed it the first time. Good am coffee but no other food. There were two small bars of soap in the room but no shampoo. That is available at the check in but you have to ask for it. As they say "We'll keep the lights on for you" but not much more."

"We had a late arrival, and the staff accommodated us with the shuttle from and back to the airport. They were very kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good and it made our very short stay much easier. Thanks to the staff!"

"We arrived shortly before 3 pm check-in and waited a short time. We were greeted by “Raj” and he offered us a choice of two rooms -we had reserved a King room. We took the main floor and the end of the hall, room 101. It was perfect - and we had a surprise jacuzzi tub that my husband enjoyed soaking in after an exhausting travel day. Room was clean and had plenty of towels and shower amenities. Convenient location for parking and walking my small dog. Only glitch was no one was at the front desk for check out and we just dropped our key card. I wanted to get $85 back credit for pet deposit. We will check our bank statement l. Would stay here again for travel through Anchorage. C. Spence"

"Waited over an hour for the shuttle at the airport before giving up and taking a taxi there (cheaper than Uber and available in the shuttle area). The shuttle serves two properties, which likely caused the delay. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station. Train noise wasn't bothersome with the AC running and windows closed during sleep hours. The room was clean and comfortable. At check-in, the front desk nicely offered my choice of floor (picked the 2nd). Staff is very friendly despite being busy. When I accidentally locked myself out, they quickly sorted out my key cards. Extra pool towels were given at the desk but asking housekeeping yielded thick, plush towels delivered to my room. Free hot coffee was always stocked as well as free ice water in the lobby. Breakfast items were good, though the dining area gets crowded. Vending machines near my room for drinks or 1st floor for snacks. Free Wi-Fi worked. The pool and fitness center looked clean from a quick glance but I was too busy to use during open hours. Bring your own toiletries unless you are fine with minimal. Would stay again!"

"Very clean, very comfortable bed. Very modern. Check in/ out flawless. Not the best views, and a lot of street traffic, but overall very comfortable room."
