Michelle the innkeeper took good care of us when we visited the area. Great breakfasts! Nice location near the wineries, waterfalls and to visit Cornell University.
Property is definately like no where else I have stayed. Loved the friendly staff, the lobby area and the deck area. Rooms are "dorm size" but efficient for a few nights stay!
Only used it as a base for touring, but room was fine. Almost got stunk out by skunk but that's country life. Convenient to state park and Hyde mansion
The location, of course, makes it a standout, as well as the attention to detail. The decor is thoughtful--beautiful and welcoming. Anna and Renee were warm and attentive innkeepers. And COVID regulations were very good. I stayed in room #9, which was fully outfitted in Mackenzie Child. It had a lake view and was quite cozy and comfortable. I had intended on staying at the hotel down the block. But when it turned up that there were no more rooms for my dates, I picked this hotel very last minute and hoped for the best. I walked in and loved the decor and atmosphere. I learned that this hotel was recently renovated. The room was clean and staff was friendly. Plum Point Lodge was very enjoyable as it is relaxing, beautiful, has nice staff and was a perfect place to stay in short distance to Watkins Glen and its attractions
We were blown away by this room and its amenities. I can honestly say that we’ve never stayed in a hotel that was as nice as this one. The room was incredibly spacious, the decor was terrific, the view from the huge windows was awesome and to top it off the bed was incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back.
