We had a lovely stay at Cayuga Blu for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly at check in. Room was very clean although bathroom could use an update. The beds were comfortable but a bit on the small side, more of a full size instead of queen. The complimentary hot breakfast was good and offered many options. Overall this hotel fit our needs very well and the location was great. We would stay again.

Cool hotel that is oddly charming. It's got a lot of character. I will be back as I have a son in school in the area. Free breakfast was fantastic.

6/10 Good

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and room was clean. Hotel in general is very run down and out dated. Owner needs to devote some time to fixing it up and it would be a great establishment. They need to start with replacing the carpet and it would look much better.

I was there just briefly overnight so did not take advantage of the amenities but it was clean, bed was comfortable, air temperature was good. I didn’t interact with many staff members but those I did interact with were friendly. The breakfast buffet looked amazing but I was on a time crunch and did not take advantage of. I would recommend on your visit to the Ithaca area.

Pros: nice breakfast with lots of options. Courteous and friendly staff. Cons: It’s an old property and though it is reasonably maintained, age shows up in a few places.

8/10 Very good

Room was clean, comfy mattress, hot shower and nice selection for hot breakfast. That’s all we needed for our one night stay just passing through. Could the place use an update? Sure but the price and location were right. Access from multiple exterior doors no keycard needed….not very secure. That felt weird used to more secure hotels so an FYI if security is a hot button for you.

The staff went above and beyond and were consistently friendly and welcoming. It would seem the property has not been updated in decades, yet it was very clean. The beds are soft, which was a challenge for us. Yet overall our experience was excellent, and we would stay again.

6/10 Good

The room was clean but like all hotels had a slight musty smell. The breakfast was amazing. Buffet style not just cereal and donuts. I didn’t interact with the staff except for check in. The dining room staff was friendly. I didn’t have an opportunity to use the pools or the workout room but they looked clean and maintained.

Nice touch that there was a pool and a great area to sit and relax and read a book. The room was nice. We were greeted with a nice welcome bag which was appreciated. The breakfast was nice. You could even sit outdoors and enjoy. Overall it was a nice visit.
