"Great Staff and Excellent Facility Made Up for One Minor Inconvenience.
This hotel was built in 2015, and is still very well kept. Try to get a room facing the back, as there is a field of wildflowers (with housing beyond). Our room was clean and tidy and very comfortable.
Super nice staff! On Sunday morning (7/27), the desk clerk happened to be in our hallway and asked if we wanted help carrying our cooler downstairs! How nice! She also gave us great info on which Covered Bridge to visit that was the most convenient if we didn't want to travel gravel roads (Cutler-Donahoe in City Park). Super helpful!
I highly recommend this hotel. Yes, it's a chain, so rather nondescript in many ways, but the experience was as welcoming as it could be.
The minor inconvenience: The internet was out. We had to use our WiFi hotspot. They gave us a number to call, but we didn't want to hassle with it. Not a huge problem for us, as we spent most of our time exploring the area. "
