We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future

Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. Was with daughter and grand twin girls in there big rental house for week near Pahoa by coast. Decided to stay extra 5 days on short notice as Kilauea volcano was lighting up Lava lake. Did not need 400$ nite place as by myself. Found Hilo Vacation Rental at 85$ nite on Expedia for room queen bed, lots of storage, Tv, internet fast and porch area French doors to dry snorkel stuff.
