Call it quirky. This is an unusual property. It's almost an elevated hostel with private apartments with bathrooms, but no TVs. Room had a refrigerator, but there is a common kitchen and lseating area. There is also a tv viewing area covered, but no ac. Quiet except for the frogs and birds.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. We liked the homey feel so much better than a huge resort hotel. Air conditioning was great and I loved the refrigerator at chest level instead of on the floor, ( at least in our room which was in the house across the street.) Parking next to the house and walking distance to the beach was also a plus. Would highly recommend Arnott’s Lodge!

This was one of the oddest hotels I've stayed in. There were many beds to choose from in the room (5), which was great, but the only TVs were in a lounge outside. This meant that a large number of teens would gather below our room to watch TV late at night, making lots of noise. This made it hard to sleep. The room was clean and there was a nice number of birds on the property. Very off the beaten path.
