Small town feeling. Locals were very friendly. We went bowling. The bowling was outdated but the kids loved it. Great local restaurants. Kids love Vans the best.

Excellent
I'm not sure I've ever been more confused about a city than I was Rantoul. Not a lot going on, but one of the nicest sports complexes we have ever visited. If your are looking for a place to play ball and nothing else, Rantoul is your place.

Good
Rantoul was bigger than I anticipated. Lots of dining options from local to chains. It was a nice town.
"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was elegant, comfortable, and attractive. I didn’t want to leave!
The staff was professional and helpful.
Also, as a late sleeper, I really appreciated the 1:00 check out time.
All for a very reasonable price (This may be due to the university being out of session.)
Wish I had more reasons to stay in Champaign. "
