The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful. Dinner at the hotel was excellent. We took the hotel bikes and went to the island across the strait by ferry for the beach and dinner at Sister and I one night. Great stay in the archipelago.
Could not recommend Skeviks Gard enough. We had a superb visit. The scenery and property are gorgeous - the right combination of peaceful and conveniently close to the city. The staff were incredibly gracious and friendly, continuously going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they could.
Would absolutely recommend this cottage. Compact, but we were 5 (3 kids 2 adults), and never felt like we were on top of each other. Right next to the water and a south facing terrace. We would go back.
This was my second stay at Skepparholmen and I can’t recommend it enough. The food, the scenery and lovely service by Wåge and Andrey made for a wonderful stay. We hope to visit soon again!
Best hotel of any I have stayed in in last three years. Cleanliness is impeccable and room las large with clean carpeting. Centrally located and near the Silja ferry dock. I was asked if I would be having breakfast in the morning I said I had an early flight and they said they would pack me something to take and the next morning they remembered! Never had such excellent service.
The breakfast and dinners were amazing. I was not expecting such a selection because these meals were included with the room. The staff helpful and friendly. They spoke great English.

The hotel in central to just about everything: no need to take mass transit at all. Just steps away are wonderful cafes and all the sights. The rooms are beautifully Swedish in style, clean and comfortable. I was in a single room, albeit small it was perfect! Breakfast was a great traditional smorgasbord and the staff could not be more accommodating in taking coffee orders.
It was wonderful coming back to the hotel each evening as you can leave all the noise behind you...
We found ourselves in a medical situation with my mother at the hospital close to the hotel. The whole team, from the owner to the front desk attendant, was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay, whether arranging taxis, extending the nights as needed, recommending restaurants and just checking on our wellbeing. The wine gift was a wonderful welcome after a long trip, but the best was when they suggested getting tickets for Springsteen (who we didn't know was in town) and helped...

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and fun (stay there and you'll see what I mean). The hotel location is perfect-- close to public transportation and in walking distance of great restaurants. The breakfast that is served every morning is delicious and it was super convenient to have a wine bar on the property. I don't have anything but good things to say! We can't wait to return. Tack!
We stayed at Hotel Skeppsholmen for the nights in May 2024. It was unseasonably warm outside, but the air-conditioned room was always nice and cool. Customer service was excellent, rooms were nice and comfy. Bathroom was larger than most with good lighting. The breakfast was huge and had everything you could want on it. But mostly it was the customer service that was great. Also had free parking so that was a plus, all the need is laundry services to be perfect.
