Big and affordable apartment, excellent and friendly staff who are eager to serve you. Very convenient location with plenty of parking space.

We chose Merida Santiago Hotel Boutique based on overwhelmingly positive reviews. We were very satisfied. From the moment we arrived tired and hungry, co-owner Jan arranged for us to have a light meal, even though the kitchen was closing down, and then provided us with a thorough inspection of our room. I loved the we arrived very late and they were waiting for us, traveled with senior the are no elevators so downfall there, there was no hot water late night, but loved the room ,friendly staff would stay again myself, and close to city center and food

It was about a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral, and many shops and restaurants. Shopping centers in front and back of hotel. I drove from Cancun and getting to the hotel was a little tricky. The colonial buildings and houses were amazing in downtown centro Merida overall it was wonderful, also drove to Progresso which was only about 45 minutes away, wonderful beach and food.

We lost hot water for one night, but they fixed right away! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location

Everyone and everything was perfect for the 2 weeks we were there. However, the only minor issue I would say that has nothing to do with staff but rather infrastructure, are the ac units (not bad enough to complain about though) .They sit above the door, inside the ceiling behind the vent. And it appeared that housekeeping had the obligation to vacuum out the water every other day (hence the requirement for them to check room every other day), since on the days that I’d skip or if I went over 2...

We had to leave our Airbnb early due to excessive noise and ended up here. This place is sooo quiet. The room: layout was spacious and well thought out with a comfy bed. There were some complaints in the reviews of the shower not getting hot. We initially thought we had that problem too but after at least 2 minutes of letting the water run it turned hot. My suggestion, leave the handle right in the middle of hot and cold and let it run. That may help. The rooftop swimming pool/Fitness...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are great, the public areas are airy and spacious and covered in lush greenery. The restaurant was good too - I especially enjoyed the flank steak. At the weekend this is a perfect spot - the Mexican Nights musical program takes place right outside the hotel so you have a ringside seat. Then on Sundays you can stroll the Paseo Montejo just up the road - it is closed for traffic on Sunday morning so families are out on their bikes. There is great...

There was nothing to complain about this hotel. The rooms are really big, spacious and comfortable, well lit and clean. And despite the heat of Merida we never suffered. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A lot better than bigger name hotels in the city. And the staff was really helpful and attentive. All in all the best stay I’ve had

Beautiful, well decorated room with high ceilings!! A huge window that leads out to a private balcony with small table and chairs. Room was on the 2nd floor. The bed was super comfortable and had handcrafted pillow cases and runners. The bathroom had high ceilings, beautiful lighting and best smelling lotion. We have traveled extensively; this place was one of the most incredible in all our travels. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. We will be back and have recommended this place to many others.
