"My husband and I had the private onsen in our room, which was great. We had the traditional dinner and breakfast booked. It was a great experience, the dinner was beautiful but I'm a vegetarian and couldn't touch anything that was served, so for breakfast they switched us to the buffet that had some western options and that was perfect."

"A great place to stay. Staff were very helpful. Clean facilities. Spacious hollywood twin room with balcony view over river. Only negative is the private balcony onsen was hot water, not spring water. But there are 2 privare onsens available ( no reservation, up to 40 min) and they were good. Free drinks on 3rd floor were a nice surprise as well as toof top garden. Breakfast was excellent."

"We stayed in a room with a private Onsen, and opted to have the meals brought to our room (specifically the wagyu option). Our onsen was so nice, that we decided to not bother with the public and reservable ones. I had three baths in a day! The food was exceptional and whilst very different to the British palette, it was all well explained, presented and of course was delicious. The staff were wonderful and attentive, responding to requests and questions quickly and clearly. I was very pleased to see that Yaiken was busy throughout our stay, and I hope it remains so. One small piece of feedback as picked up by others is that some of the furnishings are a bit tired and perhaps need a spruce up - marks on the walls etc. but genuinely nothing that would stop me going again or recommending to anyone. Thank you!"

"First time visiting Atami and read good reviews of this new hotel that opened in Mar 2026. A resort like building with an interesting ropeway ride to the hotel lobby from ground level. A short walk to the Atami station and walking street as well as the Atami shopping area with many restaurants available. Nice ocean view from the east tower and the beach is just across the hotel. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful, housekeeping did a good job in ensuring the room was clean and well maintained."
