Parking on the street was tricky. Very busy at the restaurant at hotel which made for congested parking, but the room with balcony over the garden area was peaceful. The town was walkable, especially the viaduct path, and everyone was so friendly!
We asked for a cart to bring in our tons of luggage expecting to go out to the car with it to unload. Not only did they bring us a cart but they came out to the car and helped us with all of the luggage. When we checked in, our rooms were very warm. We thought we had adjusted the air conditioning in both rooms before dinner but when we came back, one room was still hot. absolutely loved our stay here, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the setting lovely, rooms comfortable, breakfast delicious and plentiful!
only thing I would have like to see was improvement on eco friendly front, replacing the tiny toiletries with bigger bottles that are refilled in the showers and the same with all of the little plastic water bottles.
There was no food service at the pub. The beer was good, pub had friendly atmosphere.
On site parking was a bit misleading. There was a public car park down the street, seemed safe, but you had to pay
This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Kilkenny - easy walking to attractions, shopping and dining. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Easy parking across the street. Good breakfast buffet.
The Hatch, which is part of this business and across the parking lot, is lovely and has a delicious breakfast offering. The rooms are clean and new. Mild disturbances with doors slamming shut, but overall a very affordable and nice stay.

We were in London and Ireland for 10 nights and stayed at a total of 5 locations and this was by far our favorite! It is a beautiful hotel, the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff were so kind, the food was excellent, and the location was very accessible to pubs and the Kilkenny castle. We wished we could stay longer.
The Lodges are perfect for a family. We were a party of 5 and we got a 3-bedroom lodge facing the golf course. Fully-appointed kitchen, washing machine, and common room with large dining table. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff were fabulous as was the food at the clubhouse restaurant. The views of the castle whilst we ate were stunning.
