We loved our six night stay at Katari. The rooms were comfortable with traditional furniture and lovely linens. The location on the Plaza de Armas can’t be beat. The views from the rooftop restaurant and bar are spectacular at all times of the day, but especially at sunset, with the lights on the cathedral coming up and the sun turning the snow capped volcanoes pink. The only thing better are the staff, so kind, warm and responsive. Highly, highly recommend this place!

The Hotel is a little bit old. It is not well Lit at all. But the food is outstanding, the staff is amazing. With the exception of the older guy that works at night in the front desk, that guy didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered at all. Besides that, everybody else went out of their way to help you in anyway they could. I have stayed in five star five diamond hotels, and this has been the best staff I have ever experienced. Well done. The staff is by far the star of all of this.

This is a beautiful property in a very old building, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very clean, very friendly, beautiful garden, good breakfast in Ma beautiful room decorated with artifacts found from excavations on site. My only complaint is the bed was very hard -- I've encountered this same bed elsewhere in Peru so I think they all get their mattrresses from the same place! Would definately recommend.
