"This is a popular restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel. It’s quite far from Augsburg central but everywhere is easy to walk or accessible by road and public transport. Mattresses weren’t great, room (205) was very warm even in October with the window open. Staff pleasant and can get by with our broken German and their broken English. Food in the restaurant - paid extra for lunch - was lovely. Inclusive breakfast was basic but good way to start the day. "

"We can't recommend Hotel am Rathaus enough. Although the rooms are cozy, we had everything we needed. The staff more than anything went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, thank you so much! It was not easy travelling with a baby, and we appreciated the extra care. We also enjoyed the breakfast onsite. It had everything we like and would want to get the day started."

"Good location - near tram / bus stops and just across the street from the Fuggerei. There are also a grocery store and plenty of food options nearby. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Be prepared to walk up the stairs, there is no elevator (however, this was not a deterrent for our group) If I stay in Augsburg again, I will stay at the Jakoberhof."

"Superb conversion of a classic old deco cinema into a brewery and bar. Clean room, excellent location, amazing view from our room, clean bath room and toilet. The stairs were a bit smelly - carpet needs cleaning more often. "

"Das Einzelzimmer hatte unzählige Mängel. Angefangen im Zimmer bei der defekten Nachttischlampe, einer defkten Steckdosenabdeckung, einem defkten Fensterschanier, einer schmutzigen Fernbedienung TV und einem Teppich voller Flecken. Im Bad steckte der Lüfter locker in den Fliesen, die Duschtür war untem am Rahmen rostig, der Griff der Dusche innen fehlte (außen nur noch locker befestigt), ein defekter Föhn steckte in der Halterung, die Schrauben der Handttuchstange verrostet und die Glasablage war...
