The best service I’ve ever had in a hotel - anywhere. My husband and I arrived sick - they literally walked us to our room, called doctors, brought us water and bread (the only thing we could keep down), and frequently checked on us. We healed quickly with their help. Another plus - individually controlled AC. We were able to have a very cold room to heal and relax in. Also get the rooftop massages, book in advance.

Casa Marisa has an excellent location very close to the main street of La Punta where are several restaurants, dining options and bars though the street where it is located is very quiet and tranquil. The building is completely new therefore everything is fresh, all accessories are new to use and has rooms with AC, very fresh and comfortable bed. Beautiful little gem on the beach

Staff was kind and respectful, but if you’re looking for attentive staff this place might be too laid back for you; for our family, it was perfect. Everything moved at a slower pace and the surrounding area offered a relaxing vibe.

The Rockaway provided a lovely place for our family to call home for a few days as we explored Puerto Escondido. The staff were very friendly and accommodating on an early check-in and requested late check-out. The room and facilities were clean and the tone was relaxing. A great breakfast- go early though, it can get busy. Very pleasant visit.

This is a beautiful property in a stunning part of the world. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is so relaxing. We will definitely be back. One small issue is that while the hotel was listed as Adults Only, one couple brought their children, including a baby. We questioned this and were told that oftentimes people just turn up from the States with their kids and check in. Most commendable about the hotel is its excellent restaurant. After heading out to the various beach palapa restaurants and being ripped-off with bad food and terrible service, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant once and never looked back! Very clean and comfortable hotel with great A/C plus fan. No TV, no mini fridge, no bedside lamp. No hand towel just two bath towels. Saturday night stay included free EDM blasting through the neighborhood until 3am from a wedding reception near the beach. Hotel not very soundproof in that regard. Felt like I was getting knocked off my bed like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Would definitely stay again just not on a Friday or Saturday.

Very clean, well maintained property. Personalized service from a very friendly staff. Steps from the beach, cafes close by. Taxi service was readily available for Zicatela Beach and La Punta locations. Air conditioned bedrooms upstairs with a nice, private plunge pool. We received a very helpful list of recommended local restaurants and establishments. The manager was quick to respond via WhatsApp if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay here!
