This is an old coaching inn in a small country town with independent shopping along the high street , which is where the hotel is located . Parking is at the rear of the hotel easily accessed from the high street . Our room ( the Broadway Suite ) was a good size with a stand alone bath tub and separate shower and was well heated . Breakfast was good with a nice choice and we had dinner there on two of our three nights , which speaks well to the quality of the food . Last but by no means least...

From arrival everything was excellent. The manicured gardens, the personal reception by the General Manager, the common areas, our room ... Then came dinner ... and breakfast ... and tea ... everything superb. We are well travelled. We have been in several countries of South America, Central and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and in very good hotels. Buckland Manor is among the very best.

We stayed one week in the Cottswald, and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was truly a resort experience. The grounds were gorgeous, and there were many indoor and outdoor seating areas including 3 posh lounges with different vibes. Reading, games and music/relaxing.
