Lovely staff. Food a nd drinkwas cheap but good. Pub had a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the room was ridiculously hot with no fan and had a musty smell. The room was tired and dirty. We put our bags in the cubby hole and they came out covered with dust and the sheets whilst clean had mould marks on them. Same with the bathroom, clean but mould marks and I think the toilet leaked.

The hotel is aged but still sweet. Carpets really need a good clean . They need to have a sign saying please be mindful of other guests as you can hear doors slamming and people talking all hours of the night. The staff are very nice and helpful..

We had a lovely two-night stay at The Alcester Inn which allowed us to visit several nearby local attractions (Coughton House and Park, and Charlecote). The inn is just a short walk from the delightful town of Alcester, and was very clean, and quiet. The staff were very thoughtful and attentive and we enjoyed breakfasts and evening meals there which were delicious and very good value.
