Hotels near train stations are not always ok. This one was great! It was updated, bathroom and cooking area functional, equipped and clean and the hotel staff was exceptional. The hotel is actually a short walk from Gare de Lyon but there is a shortcut behind the station (where the coach busses park) that leads to the street where you can find the hotel. Was in town for an art show and booked this quirky little hotel - a bit off the beaten path, but clean and definitely unique, with rooms and even floors designed by different artists. Very accommodating with converters for those of us who forgot and mini fridge if you ask. Of note - the air conditioning and even the fans had been turned off for "winter" (it was early October and the temperature was as high as 75 degrees) - the rooms were very hot and you had to sleep with the window open...

This place is so perfect for my solo gateway to Paris in summer, located in La Marais neighbourhood, very trendy, chic, and artsy. 7 mins walk to Metro station, great amazing restaurant and cafe surrounding and great shopping too. I stayed on twin room (located at 5th floor), have the best view for sunset, very clean and well equipped. Quiet and very comfortable considering little space on twin room. Great front desk always helpful on everything I need during my stay. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely hotel with pretty rooms in a beautiful part of town. Staff was friendly, and the bed was particularly comfortable. My only disappointment was that they don’t have a baggage service to hold a suitcase between visits if you are leaving for a short trip, then plan to return.
