Nicely decorated country lodge with log fire dining room. Perhaps bathroom could have been a bit more lush in line with the rest of the decors.

I didn’t arrive at the Hotel until after 3am and checked out early, so wasn’t really there long enough to really rate the Hotel properly. I slept through breakfast so missed that. There are no amenities. I gave a #5 because it was otherwise great! Had to walk to a diner but there was a walkway and seemed quite safe.

Excellent place to stop for the night. It's close to some shopping, and only 15-20 minutes from the Melbourne airport. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable, and they offered complimentary access to the full gym and pool which is located right next to the hotel. The hotels.com ad said breakfast was included in the rate. When I went to check out, the desk attendant told me that it is never included in the rate, but that they would honor the hotels.com ad. This place has a great location right on the main street and a vibrant pub with good food. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled quite musty, but it disappeared after opening the windows and closing the bathroom door.

This hotel was a great discovery and is now one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in. We had a one-bedroom cabin and it was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large with a double sink vanity & the shower had both a rain head & hand-held shower heads. We loved the little kitchenette and the absolute best part were the amazing views & gorgeous sunsets! We ate at the 'Cucina 3064' restaurant on site for breakfast & dinner--the coffee, food & service was top notch!...

Wonderful!

Our stay was transitional as we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to be close to the airport. We were offered an early check in which was great. Staff were friendly and offered suggestions on local area. The unit was perfect. Very clean and spacious. We would be interested in a longer term stay next time we are in Melbourne.

Cute little roadside motel with a make your own breakfast option. Could have been cleaner (bug carcasses and cobwebs) but being this close to nature I expect a few interloper critters. End of spring and the heat was on, so we had to google the instructions for the heat/ac unit. Directions would have been nice. Come here for pleasure, not work, as the WiFi is free but very weak. Bed was super comfy and made gor a relaxing night pre-travel.

Gisborne seemed a nice town with many services, owner was super friendly and helpful… :)
