"Spent 3 nights, good location only 11 mins from airport, in front of the Riu hotel. 3 bedrooms, one huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, terrace overlooking the sea and Riu. Small handy supermarket downstairs, parking in the building's garage but better have smaller than bigger car, it's a bit tight. Beach about 10 mins walking, I still swam in early March. owned hotel. Spacious rooms and wonderful pools. Don’t be put off by the fact it is under the airport. The noise does not seem to reach the hotel. Short walk into the nearest town which is mainly along the promenade after a short walk next to a motorway. We did this on average once a day."

"We had a wonderful stay up in the mountains at this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was great with a great view of the mountains right from the balcony. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning with a gorgeous view of the mountains and valley and the pool and hot tub after day of exploring downtown Madeira and an afternoon of hiking in the mountains. "

"Incredible hotel with amazing staff who were super helpful. Panoramic roof top pool, delicious breakfast, free parking for hotel residents which was very handy as we hired a car for a few days and could return to the hotel each night after a day trip.
