Loved the dance party and band on the night we checked in. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor deck. Nice private location and easy to get to other towns in the region. Highly recommend this hotel!
The location worked well for us. While the hotel is not on the beachfront strip of portimao, it was just a few blocks to the beach. From there you can also walk along the cliffs into the main touristy area. If willing to walk about a mile or so you can access all of Portimão.
OK--so the location is wonderful (right on the Sea), the room was not luxurious, but very nice (Balcony, sea-view, comfy bed), and the breakfast buffet was lavish. So why not 5 stars? Unfortunately, a few minor and major hiccups make this hotel seem less-than-luxurious and mar the total experience. For example, no coffee/tea set-up in room, no free bottled water offered, and the only amenities were shampoo and bath gel (no body lotion at a place where many would be sunning!) feels a little...
I took a long drive from Lisbon city center a night before when i made a booking at this hotel the price was outstanding and very affordable i thought i'll go have a look but it was a beautiful place to stay. stayed at the 10th floor very nice view of the city would surely go back and would recommend. the only odd part was theirs no phone line in the room to contact reception. my bit !!!
Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go.

An unparalleled experience for a European getwaway. We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. On the last evening we dined at Vista and opted for the eight course meal which was superb. We will definitely be back.
