The food is great buffee option is nice for dinner if you arent half board try it , the restaurant options were all good and quality staff is lively and good spot for hiking quiet time . The spa is convenient but i have seen better i can rate the spa 5 out of 10. For this quality it was poor massage . Other than the massage i would recommend the hotel for relax and rest time . We enjoyed very much staying at PortoBay. It is how hotel should be like, clean comfortable room and friendly staff. I want to particularly shout out that we stayed in the low season (Nov) and the hotel still offered fitness class like yoga everyday. I had the lovely yoga class outdoor in the hotel garden by the ocean.

The room was spotless, hotel pools were lovely, great food and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. The only thing that annoyed us was the many people queuing to sit outside to eat there breakfast..the staff allowed them to gather literally over guests who had just started their breakfast, so it felt rushed. Plenty of spaces inside or the staff should of managed the queue if people are persistent on eating outside. Felt uncomfortable.

The hotel was a bit far from the old town but we use uber to get around and it’s cheap. The hotel was beautiful a lot of sitting areas inside and out as well dining options were great. Entertainment on the day we arrived was great. Staff were very friendly. Our room was big with a lot of storage. Overall it was a newly renovated hotel and it was beautifully done. Access thru the beach is by the next hotel which they own as well. It was quite a walk back up but not bad. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
