Hotels in Kampung Bagan Ajam

The stay at The Blue Mansion Qing Suites is definitely the highlight of my Penang trip. The hotel is stunning and modern and you can just cross the street to visit the original Blue Mansion, whose rooms are too classic for my taste. Highly recommended!!!

A very nice, new hotel. It has its own private beach. The room is spacious and clean.

We booked just a regular room and lucked out with the Old Kitchen room. It was amazing. We had a private hot tub to use and just an overall comfortable room. The bed was great and the AC was even better. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way for you. The mansion is a must stay just beware that the hawker next door is very noisy but stops around midnight. We ate there and it was fabulous. The breakfast at the old mansion is way better than any standard free breakfast I’ve gotten anywhere...

I stayed six nights in early February. Because the location was great, I walked to restaurants and shops in Georgetown. My room was big and had a sea view. The cleaning crews cleaned my room twice a day. The front desk staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. However, during six nights of staying at E & O, I have had some negatives feelings about this hotel. First, some guest were pretty rude. They talked so loudly in the hallway, and their conversations woke me up a few times. I was not sure...

Excellent property, well maintained, well run, friendly employees. Absolutely loved the contemporary decor. My only suggestion would be to allow more guest discretion in choice of room temperature. 33 degrees doesn’t suit everybody all the time.

Initially, when walking into the hotel, you’re greeted by wonderful, friendly doorman that helps with getting you into the hotel and giving a wonderful experience when checking in your greeted by the friendly hotel staff when we are initially checking in it was quite a bit later in the evening, he was a fantastic person, and I had questions earlier so when I had talked to him on the phone, he was super friendly and informative of all updates! Perfect location.. within walking distance from komtar and prangin mall, Kimberley food street, local eateries, Penang street art, museums , etc. Has a restaurant but didn’t eat there cos of the abundance of choices out there but it seems to serve high quality food. Bed is comfortable. Hotel is well maintained and staff friendly. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you.

Great location and a comfortable spot.

I had a great stay at this hotel and would absolutely come back. The room was lovely, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The cleaning staff deserve a special mention; they did such a wonderful job keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. All of the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated the complimentary juices available downstairs. It was such a nice little touch. And the free late checkout! Hotel is near the bus station so you could take a bus to gurney drive very easily. And between 5 mins there is a hawker stores that you can buy or eat your dinner there. Hotel room is very clean but the water for the shower is not strong enough. Hope this can improve in the future. Swimming pool and gym are clean and comfortable.

An absolutely amazing place. From the ultraspacious room to the extraordinary bathroom to a private pool overlooking the ocean. Beautiful decor and stylish everything. Couldn't have been better. Just wish i was there for longer.
