We use Scandic Hell at the start and end of our yearly trip to Norway. It is so convenient to the airport, but more than that, it's a great place to stay. The people who work there are wonderful, experienced, and always helpful. The food is excellent. I also like the small shopping center across the street - very handy. And let's be honest, it's always fun to tell your friends you are in Hell!
The hotel was clean and offered a very nice breakfast, even offering to provide wrapping if you want to make a lunch to take for later. It is also located near many restaurants. There is a dedicated parking area for the hotel with a few EV charging stations in the nearby parking garage, however parking spaces are tight and we arrived late in the evening and found only a couple spots remained.
Convenient location & wonderful breakfast. Only issue was the elevator in the area where taxis drop off was not working so we had to climb stairs with suitcases to get to the lobby.
We stayed for two night. The location was fabulous, easy to walk around the town, and there were many good places to eat. The staff were outstanding. This hotel was unique because they not only had breakfast included but, also, an afternoon snack and dinner. The hotel also had a washer and dryer that was free for guests to use if you didn't want to use the laundry service. The detergent was supplied too. Our room was large with a separate living space.
