Hotel is very close to the main train station of Quatro D'Altino. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from that train station to main Venezia St Lucia and also provides the train tickets (Return trips) all for a total of 20 Euro's for 2 people. The room was fine, and it was nice that they had an electric kettle to make tea. There's no restaurant at the hotel but they have a shuttle that will take you over to a nearby one, just a few blocks away, for free. I was a bit disappointed that the airport shuttle was 15 euros and only took about 4 minutes to get there.
It's a little far from Venice and doesn't have a shuttle, but for us for one day it was a treat. We took a taxi that cost 30 euros each way, we had so little time it made it worth it. I don't remember the name of the employee who was at the counter at the time of my check out on October 1, 2023. We were a group of 6 people who needed a large taxi to transport us to the airport and the employee very kindly called us a taxi. Unfortunately when I got out of the taxi I lost my credit card inside the taxi. Wonderful staff, very comfortable room and bed with a great working AC! The included breakfast was by far THE BEST breakfasts we had in ALL of Italy! There are zero views to be had at this location however the convenience of being so close to water taxis, shuttle services and transportation to and from the airport was excellent. This was a great place for us to stay while visiting Venice. It is a charming building and hotel and our room was very nice - new, clean and modern. It is a very short walk to catch the water taxi to Venice, with many restaurants near and between the hotel and water taxi - perfect. The staff went out of their way to provide a high level of attention and service. They handled the parking of our rental car with no problem, which we did not use while there. I highly recommend the Ausonia Hungaria.
