Good big room with comfy beds …good air con …small balcony overlooking canal. Coffee maker and small fridge was a big bonus. Have stayed here 3 times before , this was best deal and room . Breakfast is good , don’t expect the big British fry up …it’s Italy ! Hot items were good ( scrambled eggs) … plentiful bread and pastries . Coffee Americano was as good as any other cafe style coffee we had in Venice. This is an older style hotel , a little worn here and there , but adds to the character. Room service staff and housekeeping were very pleasant and helpful. Only drawback for me , shower cubicle a little tight for my size , but completely adequate. Early morning boat activity was noticeable , but this is daily life in Venice , happening all around you. Close to main railway station for day trips away…plus bus terminus just over 5 mins walk from hotel. All good … will stay again .
