We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable and room clean with all the necessary amenities. The hotel has a huge restaurant and Irish bar with many different rooms and 2 levels to accommodate all types of clientele! They had live music and the performances were amazing! The best part was the customer service provided with care, kindness, enthusiasm and pure happiness, always quick with help and a smile from their employee Niall, he was such a pleasure! The location was phenomenal for easy access to Galway city centre. The staff was incredibly helpful.
I do wish the WiFi signal was a little stronger in our room. We had to be by the door in order to get a decent signal.
Parking was not on-site, but was right next door and a discounted rate. Hotel was an easy 100 ft from the ramp. Busy area right on the main pedestrian walkway. Easy walking access to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff both in the hotel and the 1520 pub.
This property is adorable! Beware: there is no lift, the stairs are narrow and the room is tiny. With that said, we loved it. The rooms are identified by the names of authors, the breakfast is ample and the location offers multiple options for food and drink steps from your door.
Very nice property in a very centrally located area close to everything historic. Staff was very nice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable hotel had many options for better prices on parking and prepaid breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.
Stunning apartment. The pictures online don't really show what a beautiful place this is or what a great location. The only issue we had was that our reservation code didn't work so we had a hard time with the automated check in. We did finally get a call back and they were able to help us get checked in. Amazing hosts very friendly, gave us a tour of all the facilities. If you love BnBs that are more off the beaten path then this is for you. The drive is absolutely lovely up a mountain and around the coast (wild Atlantic way)! It’s only 30 min to the cliffs, and there are towns nearby.
The BnB is so charming with lovely communal rooms. There are 2 fireplaces with cozy chairs and dark wood beams on the ceiling, brass old lamps, and oil paintings. All the dark wood reminds me of a library or...
