I’d give it another star if I could. Staff was super helpful and made it easy for us to have a good stay. Take the U3 from central station to Rodingsmarkt if traveling by train or bus. Location is great - right across the street from the tram ( but you won’t hear it) and within walking distance to several restaurants and a grocery store. The room is large and well stocked with a fridge and a safe. Big bathroom and a writing desk. Sauna and laundry room downstairs. Breakfast was a bit...
Nice styling for entire property. Staff was very friendly, and Haribo candy at front desk. Breakfast was very good, although seemed over-priced at 35 euro per person.
We went to a concert in the Elbphilharmonie, and this was a perfect venue for us. 10 minute walk, friendly and good humored atmosphere with a hip vibe.
Was here for a week (5 days) for a business trip in late August 2016. After two days of ordering room service for dinner the staff got to know me and offered to send up something from the hotel's restaurant instead of the regular room service menu. Such a nice gesture. There were several other little things the staff also did to make my stay excellent. In addition to the staff, the hotel is well situated downtown. It is in walking distance of many locations but also within a 5 minute walk...
Very good property. The rooms are great. The location is exceptional. Maybe the only complaint is that breakfast was very crowded at 9:00 AM. That said, this would be my go to hotel in Hamburg every time.
Great helpful staff. Had tasty dinner at the restaurant. They did forget to have ready Nespresso capsules in my room but remedied that when I asked for some at front desk.

We really loved our stay at the HENRI Hotel in Hamburg. The sizable room was very quaint and comfortable, and so well thought out. We were able to completely spread out, yet stay totally organized, with all the storage space and amenities provided. The location was perfect for walking or using public transportation to get anywhere we wanted to go. The lobby kitchen had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Would highly recommend the HENRI to all visiting Hamburg!
