"We were so pleased with our stay at Steris Elegant Beach Hotel! We arrived past midnight on our first day because of a delayed flight and the staff, especially Dino, was so welcoming and helpful, which was a great start to our stay. We loved having the beach right out front of our hotel, and the beach service with chairs, umbrellas, food and drinks was fantastic. The rooms are also very clean, the ac works great and the location is near the old town, supermarkets, tourist and local shops....

"Entry to the Hilton hotel was met with the customary sit down (welcome drinks, towels, a run through of the map and facilities of the hotel) which was nice Reception staff was friendly as expected which is a requirement for front office staff. "BEAUTIFUL MAINTAINED GROUNDS. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. WE HAD A PARTIAL SEA VIEW BUNGALOW - THE VIEW WAS GOOD & BUNGALOWS ARE LOCATED IN A QUITE PART OF THE RESORT. LOVED OUR BALCONY ( RM 30). MAIN CRITICISM OF THE ROOM IS THE OVER BATH SHOWER. WHOEVER PLANNED PUTTING THE TAPS IN THE CENTRE OF THE BATH AS WELL AS THE WIRE RACK & SOAP DISPENSERS HAS NEVER TRIED TO STAND TAKING A SHOWER IN THE BATH WHILST FIGHTING THE PLASTIC SHOWER SHEET - IT IS DANGEROUS . I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HEAVIER / LARGER PEOPLE MANAGE IT!!. RECEPTION - VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUESTS IE COFFEE NOT TOPPED UP WAS QUICKLY RESOLVED. "We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."
