Very peaceful countryside setting. Perfect for the relaxation we were seeking. Classic architecture enhanced the ambiance as did the well-maintained gardens and grounds.
The property is very nice. The breakfast included was wonderful. The town of Keidrich is about 5 minutes away and has so many wonderful restaurants. My only complaint would be the view. When we booked, the room says valley view but since our room was on a lower level it actually overlooks the driveway and the parking lot. All night long, you can hear cars driving up. I think if we had a higher level room it would have been more enjoyable.
This place is fantastic.... It feels like a fairytale, and since there's not that many rooms, it feels like you have the place to yourself. Absolutely beautiful grounds to explore, and the rooms feel very luxurious. Super comfy bedding too! Oh, and an amazing breakfast!

Comfortable rooms and nice location. The owner and staff are all friendly and professional. The dinner was first class fine dining, something not to miss! Breakfast was very good as well. The only challenge was the internet…. We were only able to get on the internet when outside in the courtyard.
Lovely accommodations adjacent to an historic castle. I stayed in a single room on the 4th floor (a.k.a. "attic space") which was perfect for a solo traveler. This compact room offered excellent views of the Rhine River too. One thing about the 4th floor though, you will have to walk up from the 3rd floor as there is no elevator service to the 4th floor. Great hotel next to the castle Burg Reichenstein. Upscale hotel with great views of the Rhein river or castle. The rooms are comfortable but not for longer stays as there are no closets or drawers or even a table. The bathrooms are interesting, beautifully done but toilet, shower and sink are separated; it's a bit odd to have the shower in the room/hallway with only a glass door so no privacy at all.
