Cute little inn, just a couple blocks from the historic town center (and it has free parking onsite). Room was clean and well furnished; bed was comfortable. And the breakfast is a veritable feast! I highly recommend this place!

Ich hatte für 136,80 € ein Komfort-Doppelzimmer gebucht und bin angesichts der sehr guten Bewertungen mit hohen Erwartungen angereist. Leider wurden diese nicht erfüllt. Bei meiner Ankunft war das Hotel verschlossen und kein Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Erst telefonisch erfuhr ich, dass das gesamte Team auf einer Schulung war. Informiert wurde ich darüber über Hotels.com erst gegen 16 Uhr, als ich bereits unterwegs war. Den Schlüssel erhielt ich aus einem Schlüsseltresor. Das Zimmer war eher klein, der besondere Komfort für mich nicht erkennbar: kein Wasserkocher oder Kaffeemaschine, keine Minibar, selbst das Wasser war kostenpflichtig. Kurios: Der Safe stand unbefestigt auf dem Boden – praktisch für Einbrecher, die ihn einfach unter den Arm klemmen können. Am Telefon wurde ich gefragt, wann ich frühstücken möchte, ohne Hinweis darauf, dass es nicht inklusive ist. Dafür kamen 17 € hinzu. Das hoch bewertete Frühstück war überschaubar: Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, zwei Brötchen, Croissant, Saft und Kaffee. Eierspeisen waren bestellbar, wurden aber nicht aktiv angeboten. Insgesamt 153,80 € für ein kleines Zimmer, ein unbesetztes Hotel ohne Möglichkeit, abends etwas zu essen oder zu trinken, und dieses Frühstück: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich nicht. Eine Mitarbeiterschulung ist völlig legitim, die eingeschränkte Leistung sollte sich dann aber auch im Preis widerspiegeln. Schade, denn das Haus selbst hat Charme. Meine Erfahrung passt jedoch nicht zu den sehr hohen Bewertung.
