Hotel Pacific Roma
8/10 Good
"The size of the room is reasonable considering most hotel rooms are small. The staff are not pleasantly helpful. They dutifully help but seem bothered. The best part of the room is good airconditioning. We were first given a room on the 6th floor with a very large balcony. That is the best room. Later we were moved to another room for the last 2 days we stayed. I was not aware of it when we checked in. This is very stressful to have to pack and move."
"The front desk staff, particularly one team member, came across as unwelcoming and overly formal rather than warm and hospitable — not the greeting experience one expects from a hotel.
The level of helpfulness was unfortunately below expectations.
For those considering a stay, you may find better options elsewhere.
Regarding booking: contacting the hotel directly may result in better rates, as third-party platforms."
"Perfect place if you're getting in late one night and departing early the next day. Easy to get to and from the Rome airport.
Room was very well set up for travelers -- plenty of places to drop your bags, pack/unpack/repack, etc. Would have been nice if the water in the room wasn't an additional charge, but so be it.
Restaurant staff was very nice, pricing was reasonable, food was OK. It's the only choice, but it was OK.
Price we were charged was higher than what was quoted, but not by much, so not worth the hassle to worry about it. Would stay here again."
"Stayed there for 1 night only for our travel out of Rome. Excellent location in a very vibrant neighborhood with a lot of trattorias nearby. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel staff were super nice and helpful. Would stay there again on my next trip to Rome, and hopefully for longer than 1 night."
"The family room layout and furniture worked well for our family of four. It had one king bed and two twin beds, plus a desk and a couple of chairs. The room had a wall AC unit that kept the room at a very comfortable temperature, but the unit itself was a bit noisy at times. I only had two complaints about the room. Firstly, the pillows were very flat and I found them uncomfortable, but that is personal preference. Second, while the room met our needs, I did expect it to be a bit nicer with the 4 star rating. The breakfast worked out well and the location of the hotel was convenient. We arrived in Rome by train and were able to walk to the hotel
from the Termini station. There is also an entrance to the metro line A right outside the door of the hotel. This is convenient for traveling to the area of Vatican City and other sites. We were able to walk to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps one afternoon (about 3.5 miles in total) and we also walked to the Colloseum. Overall, the hotel worked well for us, but my expectations of the room may have been a bit high."
"Great stay (2nd time).
Lovely location just out of the heart of Rome but close enough to get to Vatican City in 10
Min via the free shuttle.
Breakfast is amazing!
Rooms are spacious and staff very helpful."
"This hotel was fantastic. Very modern and well kept. The hotel didn't have AC our first night, so they upgraded our room, and offered a room nearby (at no charge) while they fixed the issue to make up for it.
The property is very clean, they have a great breakfast, lovely rooftop, and a spa (though I didn't use it)."
"Everything was amazing. Staff are very professional, friendly, and polite. The breakfast was delightful and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. I surely recommended. I will come back to make another reservation and tell my friends to stay in this hotel."
