Aria Palace by OMNIA Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"The Aria OMNIA hotel made my first trip to Rome a great one. EVERYONE was friendly and eager to assist me and my travel partner. The location was accessible to stores, restaurants, shopping and public transportation."
"There was a sutuation with the Air Conditioning be out when we checked in.The young lady checking us in explained that it was not the hotels fault and that the problems were being worked on. A/C was restored that morning. While checking in at 10:00 pm, waiting in a very warm lobby because of the A/C situation mentionef above, was next in line .A front desk agent appeared to be available when another person staying at the hotel walked to the front desk agent (a young lady there) and pulled out his cell phone and started a conversation about what and where he and the family had gone for dinner. When he turned around and realized that there was a line of people waiting to check in, I think he sincerely felt that he was holding up the check in process and made note of his approach to the desk agent. The front desk agent raised her hand as if to dismiss the line of people and continued with the conversation. She did not check me and the wife in, the agent to the left of her did and she did a great job. I felt a little slighted by what she did. I did take note that the agent did do her job and started to check in other people in line. I'm from the U.S. and African American. Don't know if that had anything to do with anything.

"We visited Rome, Venice, Milano, and Lake Como. This hotel was the highlight of our hotels we stayed. The facility is modern, well-kept, clean, with great soap and shampoo, etc. But you must check out their rooftop restaurant!!! The chef is outstanding. They have good meals, including breakfast buffet and lunch. It is in a secure location, with easy access to taxi, and the Roma Termini Station. They have a spa we had no time to try but would do so next time!"
"There are two Hilton Hotels at the airport. One is contiguous within the airport and you walk to it. The Hilton Garden requires you to take a bus that stops frequently to other hotels but comes every 15 minutes and it is usually almost full. The hotel is very busy and I waited at least one hour to just check in for a pre-paid stay because they only had 2 people handling so many new customers. The breakfast, while included and buffet, it is not of great quality. They drop you off and pick you up at Arrivals on Terminal 3. It was not easy to identify the pick up point and we wasted one hour looking for it. You are better staying in Rome at a hotel like IQ Hotel which is more refined and with better amenities, close to the train station and take the Leonardo Train for $22 EU per person which drops you off inside the airport and the ride takes 20-30 min."
"Fabulous hotel, lovely atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, would stay again. Coffee machine in room would have been perfect, but a fab coffee bar downstairs"
