You can stroll along Port of Split for relaxing water views when you're in Bacvice. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you carry on walking you'll get to Split Marina and Bacvice Beach for some more water views.

You have to walk down 10 flights of stairs to go to the beach and you have to pass through some pretty nasty unfinished half done buildings to get there. Their dinner buffet was really poorly educated. All the meat was cold.
The rooms are decorated in a blue fishy style, but the atmosphere is unpleasant.

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Lapad Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We also really liked the breakfasts (one of the best hotel breakfast we have had!). The pool area was delightful, relaxing and peaceful. The bar/restaurant by the pool was also fantastic. The location was a little far from the Old Town (about a 30 minutes walk), but the access by bus or Uber was great. So, this did not bother us at all. We also enjoyed several great restaurants nearby. We fully recommend this hotel!"

"We had a beautiful Seaview room, well worth paying extra for this. The pool was big and clean, plenty of space and the children's maro world was really great. The breakfast was really good, so much choice and lovely tables outside to enjoy the gardens and sunshine. We also used the pool of neighbouring hotel which was great. Uber to Dubrovnik old town was 10 minutes and cost around €7. A lovely hotel!"
"Won't stay again. Service and management is so poor. No help provided with bags for check in. No early check in, and no late check out beyond 1 hour. Someone from housekeeping came into our room an hour before check out with our baby still sleeping. So disruptive! Do not order any drinks at the pool bar, all their glassware is filthy dirty! They recycle food from breakfast to dinner back to breakfast."
