Staff let me stash my bags while I explored the castle for 5 hours, and then again after checkout while I walked around town. Room was super clean, and the shower was the best I've had in awhile. Also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was a full meal and not just a pastry. View from the room was pretty great, too. Heads up to open a window when you shower, or the bedroom will fill up with steam. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Berat.

The room was so beautiful and cozy with nice views of the mountains and town. Our hotel host, Sonni, was so amazing!! He was extremely hospitable, helpful and did speak English. He cleaned mine and my daughter's room Every Day and made the best home-made Albanian breakfast! His wife is a guide at the Krujë office and was also very kind to me and my daughter on our visit. Lovely family and hotel. I would definitely stay again!

We were so impressed with this establishment! The woman at the desk was incredibly helpful, even helping us figure out how to make space for everything in our room. We paid for the laundry service and got it back the next morning, all folded and neat for us. She also let us park out front and keep our parking place several hours after we had checked out so that we could tour the Gjirokaster castle. This was invaluable as driving and parking in Gjirokaster is harrowing. Breakfast was included...

It was a privilege to stay in the old town next to the castle in Gjirokaster.
