We stayed at Hotel Julia for three days and had a very pleasant experience. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we really appreciated our room. The quality of the materials and the cleanliness of the hotel were excellent. The hotel is quiet, and the street is not noisy, which made our stay very relaxing. We also chose the breakfast option, and the quality of the food was very good. We highly recommend this hotel!

Location is great and so is the room and breakfast. However, the aircon was not working and we had days of more then 34oC, so they kept telling us to change the configuration until finally the manager came by and explained they tried to fixed during the day with no sucess. This issue was happening in at least 4 rooms in the hotel. He finally left us with a fan and on the following evening he said it was fixed but we still needed to use the fan. If this problem is fixed, I would still recomend the hotel.

A perfect base in Sarandë! The pool was a lifesaver for cooling off between adventures, and the rooftop is the spot for sunset — absolutely stunning views. Location couldn’t be better: a short walk to the promenade, with a supermarket right nearby for anything we needed. The staff went above and beyond — friendly, welcoming, and even let us leave our rental car at the hotel while we crossed over to Corfu for a few days. Highly recommend!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. We were given a free room upgrade upon checking in, which was lovely. The hotel is boutique sized and sleek and modern. The quality and style of furnishings in the room impressed. The views were amazing from the rooftop terrace bar area where breakfast is also served. Plenty of choice for breakfast too. Great location, only 5-10 minutes walk from the centre, yet quiet and peaceful. Easy but limited parking on site. They also have a small garage they let us use. The pool is not heated but in mid-Sept was still warm enough to use for a brisk swim. Our room 202 was huge, with spa bath in one corner. The bathroom was also a good size with walk-in shower enclosure. Unfortunately, the glass shower screen and a glass wall panel were both cracked and the toilet brush was broken and wrapped in a shower cap to prevent leakage. Obviously have issues with metal corrosion. Also had a minor ant infestation in the bathroom. Great view from our balcony, although we could only use half of it as they were storing something on it. Breakfast buffet is served on the roof terrace and was okay but not great. You can order fresh coffee and they will serve it to your table. We dined at the hotel on our final evening and wish we had done so before. The food and service were both excellent (Thank you, Laura!) and great value - better and cheaper than eating in town. Recommend.

We were excited to have a room with a hot tub. Unfortunately, our air conditioner wasn’t working properly, the bed initially had platform slats missing, and the hot water went out each morning when we were trying to start our day. The staff was very friendly and did their best to resolve things quickly, however we only had the room in good function for about 15% of our stay. The room itself is very nice and the location is great. The WiFi was spotty and the pool closes very early unfortunately.

This family-owned and operated hotel is a treasure. The staff are lovely and helpful. The pool area is quite nice for catching some rays (we were there in May and it was a little too chilly for our taste to swim). The room was clean as a whistle, and the beds were comfortable. There is a steep walk from the pool half a block down the hill to the Main Street of hotels in front of the beach / to the Plaka, but even in the rain it wasn’t too terrible (just a bit slippery where the pavement changes to the street pavement). The hotel is convenient to everything. Without luggage it’s an easy walk to the ferry terminal, restaurants, the beach, stores, etc. and the taxi ride to Lekuresi Castle was inexpensive. The food at the Julia Rooftop Restaurant was very good. We ate breakfast there in the morning and dinner there our final night when we were tired from the wedding we had traveled to attend the prior day. I highly recommend the Julia for the value for the price!

Albi was great he was there for breakfast everyday and if we needed something he got it done. Being here during off season was probably not the best as a lot of things were closed and this is the time they do maintenance and upgrades so our last breakfast was in a bit of a construction zone. Bed was very comfortable and had a great view off the balcony. The room was on the smaller side but sufficient for our three night stay. Shower pressure was great!

Lovely hotel with beautiful sea views and friendly obliging staff. On one of the six nights the noise from neighbouring hotel was intolerable. The sliding doors onto balcony were literally vibrating. It stopped at 11pm and the receptionist was very apologetic explaining there was nothing hotel could do. He did offer me a quieter room at the back for us to sleep in. The breakfast was a wee bit disappointing. Perhaps some fresh melon rather than tinned peaches? And the yoghurts would be better if they were kept chilled in an ice bucket.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Julia Hotel. It is in a great/central location bit also a few minute walk to the main strip of bars and restaurants which can get noisy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and our room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed having breakfasts and drinks on the rooftop. It had some of the best views of the town and sunsets. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back one day!

Lovely little hotel and very close to the marina/port (walkable). Breakfast was a let down and the pool was very small but the staff were lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are also quite spacious (there were three of us). Would definitely recommend!
