If you are looking for a more secluded stay this is the place. It is about an hour from the city but the drive is worth it. The view was gorgeous and very serene. Very comfortable stay for the night. I have stayed here once before and both times now it was a pleasant stay. Room is always clean, bathroom shower is always hot with good pressure, bed is comfortable..just a really nice little hotel.
The lobby has a Cafe in it. Their customer service is excellent and the food is very good for a quick bite. They will bring you the food to your room too which was a nice plus.

I stayed at the hotel twice and I must say that this is the best hotel during my trip in Palawan. The hotel is not large, but it is very clean and quite with a lovely garden. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Both the food and service were great. We were food poisoned in El Nido and the staff at reception was very helpful to offer pills for diarrhea.

Met Mr. Sylvester the GM of the hotel and just wanted to say that I enjoyed staying at his hotel. Staff is excellent and breakfast was good for being on an island far from the main island. The Ivy is the best, Best Western that I have stayed. I will definitely come back and stay there again.

On entering the hotel lobby and proceeding to the annex it reminded me of my visit to old roman villas with narrow outdoor corridors graced between them with lovely verdant green gardens.
the whole establishment bespeaks the architecture of old Italy.
The rooms and halls are adored with portraits of Roman women in Rome garb of the period
reclining on couches in different positions. What I found interesting was their faces where , not
Italian but Germanic looking. Perhaps the hotel owner...

My bf got ill after coming back from the underground river tour but I was lucky enough that hotel staff was there to assist us with what we needed. He recovered the following day thankfully. this hotel is a gem. :)
