One of the best places we stayed on our trip. Excellent location and great views. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond in making our staff very enjoyable
Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.
One of the loveliest B&B experiences ever. Morag, our hostess was a treasure. Her culinary skills and hospitality were exceptional. We stopped for an overnight enroute to Isle of Skye...a respite we won't soon forget.

Delightful hosts Derek and Rena are welcoming and professional.
Great breakfast, nice room with very good beds, and the best shower of a 2 week stay at multiple properties.
Convenient with easy walk to train station and downtown.
Highly recommended.
Comfortable and very quiet location in Carlisle. It's within easily walking distance of downtown.
Parking can be challenging, but not as impossible as some other locations we visited in the UK.
Breakfast was very good. The building and bedroom both had "character", Not a cookie cutter hotel room.
I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice. The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station.
The owners were very attentive and nice. They live in the front of the property. It was quiet, easy to find and walkable to downtown for dinner. Everything looked brand new. Breakfast was great!
There is no place that I know of with a more scenic and tranquil view and setting on the Liddle Water. Set in Elliot territory on the edge of Armstrong lands in the ancient border lands of Liddesdale, this is an excellent location to start any journey through the area in discovering the area’s rich border reiver history. Jane and Michael and the most gracious hosts you will find. Morning coffee in the gazebo over the Liddle overlooking the pastures with the sound of the Black Byrn flowing below...
Tea was excellent and a great variety. Service always excellent and staff friendly and accommodating. We stayed a couple of days and if back in that area I would stay at this hotel.
