Good
Have stayed in Carnforth many times and very convenient. Plenty of supermarkets if you are self catering.
"This was a lovely place to stay and incredible value for money. This is not a 5* hotel but it has a lovely charm and a is ran by a hardworking, lovely couple. A room with breakfast included for the price you are paying is amazing. Me and my wife enjoyed our breakfast and even catered for me (vegetarian). Highly recommend! Will stay here again. "
"Accommodation was average but the cleanliness let it down. The bedding was clean and fresh but we had old tea spashes on the unit and also someone's old toilet usage was still stick to the pan. "Wasn't the nicest thing to have to clean when I've paid to stay at a hotel" overall would I stay again. Yes I probably would as it may have been a one off... Some of the furniture and decor had seen better days too "
"Lovely Hotel in the heart of village with super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even given an upgrade on arrival! We will definitely be going back at some point. Thank you so much 👍"
"Lovely room, spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed
Nice size bathroom with complimentary soaps, shampoos etc
All rooms on first floor so could be an issue if you have mobility problems
Royal hotel bar/ restaurant quite busy so would recommend booking if you want to dine in. Food quality was excellent and a great service given.
Decent size car park across the road, always found a space to park even when it was busy in the bar
I would have no hesitation staying here again if I am in the area"
"Did a quick 1 night stop over. Would stay here again staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of entertainment on all day and a band on in the evening. Food was very good and breakfast as you would expect. Even the price was ok "
