Excellent stay at the Homestead as part of our short trip the Gaping Gill. Kevin and Marie are super hosts, the property is spotlessley clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is possibly the best that I have ever eaten at a UK hotel/B&B (I recommend the Spanish Tortilla/ Tostada). Iwould happily choose to stay here again.

Fantastic stay at The Homestead to attend a wedding at the nearby Wennington Hall . The Homestead was a gem of a find-the property itself is stunning and immaculately kept with all nice thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay . Beautiful place, beautifully clean. Really comfortable bed, great breakfasts and amenities in the room and bathroom. Maria was absolutely lovely (didnt meet Kevin, i think he was away on business). I really felt welcomed and nothing was too much trouble, i felt very spoilt. She recommended places to eat and visit, and provided me with a map and leaflet for some of the areas. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. X

Great stay! Stayed for 1 night for a wedding at Wennington hall. Host offered a lift to and from the venue which was fab. Room had everything you needed - tea coffee etc. bathroom had towels shower gel etc. Breakfast selection excellent which was pre ordered the night before. Fab hosts - would recommend stay

My husband and I stayed at The Homestead 10 years ago and finally returned to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were once again delighted by The Homestead, the character, attention to detail make it such an interesting stay, so original. It is appointed so well with such sympathy for the age of the property. It is beyond spotless everything gleams ! You know you will have a lovely nights sleep in the large bed covered in nice white cotton bedding. We actually chose to stay in our room one evening and just chill ...perfect. Maria is a great host, very attentive. We even got a card and chocolates on our breakfast table, what a nice touch. Breakfast had lost of choice and well cooked. Could not fault our stay in anyway !

Stayed here on 29th May, whilst attending a friends wedding at Wennington Hall. I can honestly say the hospitality was second to none, breakfast was fantastic. Kevin kindly offered his services to pick us up from the venue, no matter how late we decided to stay out till and even run us back in the morning to collect our car when ready. Beds were comfy, especially after a skinful.. I couldn’t fault the stay at all, perfect location if visiting wennington hall, absolutely would stay again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, a real gem.
