Modern B&B in a history house. The room was large enough with a comfy bed, modern bathroom/shower, and a mini fridge available. Reasonable walking distance to the restaurants, waterfront in Torquay.

From the moment we entered the Hotel Indigo Torquay, we knew that our money was very-well spent. The staff, especially Isabelle at the front desk and Jackie in the breakfast room, were over-the-top in service and helpfulness. Every staff member, including the hotel manager, treated us in a friendly personal manner with a very high degree of professionalism. Absolutely gorgeous room and place. Great shower and bed, beautifully clean and the whole place has only been done up really recently and to a great standard. Joanne could not have been any nicer - so helpful and we had tea and cake on arrival. The breakfasts were amazing, best ever. We even had salmon one morning! It's walking distance to the town, beach and parks. Would definitely recommend this place.

Travelling for work and I had the place to myself due to the pandemic. Felt a bit guilty for putting out the owner, Michelle, just for me but she was very welcoming. I travel quite a bit for work and when you stay in an independent guest house, it can be a bit hit and miss, but I felt immediately comfortable here. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good and they have a well stocked ‘honesty’ bar with reasonable prices. Recommend

Debbie and Richard were lovely hosts! Beautiful attention to every detail. The breakfast it delicious! They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Short stay to see Torquay, Peter recommended a great seafood restaurant. We visited some local attractions.

Vince and Irwin are incredibly friendly and helpful suggesting places, pubs, restaurants and attractions to visit that will make your stay that much better. Their accomodations are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to friends.

My brief visit to Torquay was made perfect by staying at Ashleigh House. The proprietress was so kind, thoughtful, and full of great information about the area, and she made a magnificent breakfast. The wifi was very quick, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the views--well, spectacular. You can see Dartmoor from her front porch, and the neighbourhood is charming and full of great bars and restaurants. And Oscar the dog is a great ornament to the house, too!

Great place - love the atmosphere and the service. Convenient to the town - easy walk to dinner. Breakfast was delish and a lovely property.

Amazing. Do the important things great and the little things just as well. Look forward to staying again.

We loved the elevator down to harbor level, so we didn't have to climb up Terrace

Enjoyed the relaxed, residential setting and the hosts were wonderful.
