Great hotel, location wise, only problem is they use an elevator for your car if you bring one. The breakfast should be included after the price people pay for the rooms. In Spain they criticize Capitalism, but I think they are worst, plus they don’t staff accordingly. Exploitation
This is the second time that I have stayed at this property. The first was 10 years ago under previous management. The property is in excellent condition as it was the first time I went there. The new owners are very nice people unfriendly and served a very good breakfast. We arrived early and he still processed our check-in already, even as the room was not ready yet. He offered to keep our luggage in a safe place and we explored the town and the great Calle Laurel. The hotel is right in the heart of the old part of town. We stayed during the first day of the Rioja Wine Festival (highly recommend!) and you barely could hear the drummers of the parade when the windows were closed; open and you were in the thick of it! Externally comfortable and spacious room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here when we return.
